Kwik Meal 4 now serves pasta dishes
After their recent failure at 6th Avenue and 37th street location, Kwik meal street cart owner has decided to move it back right next to headquarters Kwik Meal / Meal Obama cart on 45th street and 6th Avenue in midtown Manhattan. He also changed the name of the cart to Kwik Pastas. Kwik Pastas menu consists of three choices: Angel Hair with chicken, sundried tomato and red onion. Angel Hair with mixed vegetables and Angle Hair with Tiger Shrimp. Apparently no one proof reads their signs so it reads Angle Hair for some reason.

So far, I only see positive reviews: you get a lot of food for 6 bucks.
Bourbon Chicken at DC Fusion
Today for my lunch win explored DC Fusion place on 7th Ave between 36th and 37th streets in NYC. Place used to be called Pow Wok few years ago. Ordered their Bourbon chicken special. You get 2 choices of chicken and one choice of starch for $6.39. There is alternative for side dish lovers: 1 choice of chicken and 2 choices of sides for $6.19. My lunch was good, I will be back there.

Go Go Curry
Go Go Curry is a Japanese themed restaurant that is located on 7th avenue and 38th street - midtown location of Manhattan. Today I grubbed a chicken curry special. Big piece of deep fried chicken comes on top of rice and salad and whole thing is smothered in unique tasting dark curry sauce.

TACocina Express
Today we continued exploring Hells Kitchen area of NYC. Today we wanted to get Mexican food and went to TACocina Express take-out. It is located at 710 9th Ave, around 47th street. They run lunch specials, you can get your choice of burrito, chile relenno, enchiladas, quesadilla, chicken mole or chimichanga with rice and refried beans and chips with hot spicy salsa on the side for $5.95. Great value for the price.

Hallo Berlin Express
Went to lunch to Hallo Berlin Express today. Ordered schnitzel special there. Food was ok, place is a little bit overpriced. For 12 dollars you get a beer and a sandwich. Maybe I just ordered a wrong thing, I left the place feeling hungry.

Schnitzel and beer special

After leaving Hallo Berlin Express I found out that schnitzel sandwich costs 7 bucks and large beer costs 5, so their specials is not that great deal after all. You get more if you order items individually.
As I said, I left the place feeling hungry so on the way back we stopped at Amys bread for a cupcake.

Stir Fry at Amici 36
Ate at our usual place - Amici 36 Deli on 8th avenue and 36th street. They serve one dish that you should pay close attention to: their stir fry. You can order different variety of meats and vegetables on it and also good choice of noodles. Today I got chicken stir fry with thin rice noodles, mixed vegetables (all of them), ginger and ordered whole dish to be extra spicy. They give you a lot of food and my fry was very spicy, just the way I like it. Great deal for $6.95 Lunch Win!

Schnitzel Truck
So, for lunch today we decided to hit Schnitzel and Things - Schnitzel truck that recently created a lot of buzz around midtown Manhattan area. It was far away from our office but what the hell, it's only 12 blocks walk in the worst walking area of New York City - the Times Square. I got handed a Rap CD once and asked to pay for it... right.
From Schnitzel Truck's twitter page we found out that he changes locations everyday. If you ever decide to eat there, check out his current location there.
When we got there, it had quite a line. We had to wait for around 20 minutes until our lunch was ready.

And finally, my meal. I ordered pork platter and it was lunch win!

Tailgate at Giants Stadium
Apparently, I just had 2 epic win lunches in the row. I went to a Red Bull New York game vs Kansas City Wizards and we did tailgate and grilled some meat. Lunch win 100%
Han Bat Spicy Soup
Han Bat Korean Restaurant
Location:
53 W 35th St
New York 10001
(Btwn 5th & 6th Ave)
Han Bat is a great place for great Korean food with reasonable pricing, however you need to know what dish you want to order. Han Bat is called peasant food but I see nothing wrong with eating peasant food. Today I've ordered Jo Gae Kal Kook Soo - home style noodles with extra spicy seafood soup. Whole lunch cost me 9.75 and it was freaking spicy, just the way I like it! Your lunch comes with endless side dishes, today was kimchi and some yellow vegetable with sauce.
